This is the first ever silver bullion coin to be introduced in the Euro. The Austrian minted 1oz silver coin known as the Silver Philharmonic is basically a replica of its golden counterpart. The Austrian Silver 1 oz Silver Philharmonic coin was designed to showcase Austria’s rich history in music and arts.
The Austrian Mint, near historic Vienna, has been producing beautiful coins for more than 800 years.

- Minted in Vienna Austria
- Face Value €1,50 Euro
- Diameter 37 mm
- Obverse: Features various instruments including a string bass, cello, violin, bassoon and harp used in the Orchestra representing Austria’s rich musical history along with the word sliver in German.
- Reverse: Features the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s image of the “Great Organ” found in the “Great Hall.” There is also the country of issue along with the legal tender of €1,5 Euro.
