Silver 1 oz. .45 Caliber Bullet (BU)
This is a rugged American-made piece of U.S. Military history. Manufactured by Silvertowne Mint with .999 fine silver and weighs 1 troy ounce. This is a replica of the .45 caliber Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) rounds. John Browning in 1905 designed the original bullet replacing the .45 Caliber single-shot pistol bullets.
This design was adopted into the military by General John T. Thompson. This bullet was used by the military during the period from 1911 through 1986. It still remains a model for armed forces in many countries.
